Joe Brown lived most of his childhood in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It was in Chadds Ford that Joe grew to love the respective beauty of history, nature, and art. It was also while attending Unionville High School in Kennett Square (Go Indians!), that Joe first heard and believed the Gospel of Jesus through the ministry of Young Life. Over the next decades, Joe worked with Young Life, studied at University of Richmond (Go Spiders!) and Reformed Theological Seminary (Go…Thornwellians?!), and is currently working on a degree at Bethel Seminary. (Go Royals!). Joe has worked for churches in North Carolina, Georgia, and since 2006 Joe has worked at West End Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia. He married his wife, Blair a few years ago and they live with their four children, their two cats, Jackson Davis and Cam Newton, and their dog, Bonner. Joe loves movies (anything Christopher Guest makes) and television (especially the Golden Girls), the Carolina Panthers (#keeppounding), the Chicago Cubs (this is the year!), the Philadelphia 76ers, Enya, dragging his children to historical sites (huzzah!), reading, biking, and baking. Joe really hates thank-you notes, beef stroganoff, and Golden Palace because, really?
What Joe is about
Only in Jesus and his Gospel can we find the power to forgive, and to find joy, hope and revival.
Only in Jesus can we find life.
